Apple, together with other parties, has developed a technique that eliminates the need to fill in CAPTCHAs. These are used to prevent bots and spam accounts, but often cause frustration for users.

CAPTCHAs come in all shapes and sizes, but they all have one thing in common: being able to distinguish between humans and computers. They are often used when you create an account or need to log in. For example, you have to click on the zebra crossings in an image or overwrite letters in a font that is difficult to read. Sometimes such CAPTCHAs are quite difficult, so that even people have doubts, resulting in multiple login attempts. Apple, along with Cloudflare and Fastly, has developed a method called Private Access Tokens, which serve as a replacement for such CAPTCHAs.
