From what I've seen, they're only usually locked by an employee after a player mistakenly grave-bumps it with irrelevancy
. I agree though, directing an employee to solely and actively oversee the website & forums and make improvements onto them would hopefully reignite the interest by many that the RSOF once had many years ago. I suppose it could also be argued that-that decision isn't a priority financially nor would it compare to the traffic of the external socials. Yet, the departments work on projects to seemingly cater to niche communities on request - why can't we be one of those projects? Maybe in next year's GameJam we'll see something to give us some hope.
Heck, my clan is not even 90 days old and it's respective Discord server sees far more activity than the RSOF sees, nowadays
