I just noticed that it looks better on a female forum avatar, you can actually see a bit of the "spikey bits" at the top.
Still far from perfect though =/

I agree that perhaps the colour of gold could be slightly more pertinent, but I would also like to see the entirety of the crown around my avatar's head in a tight fit, as opposed to fitting so loose and being too big for the frame. It seems a little disproportional to the rest of the head, but that's just my two cents.
Either way,
the partyhat looks great in-game!
This is the most important thing for the '
Golden PartyHat
' that it looks awesome and shines brightly ingame, in RuneScape.
The issue here in The RuneScape Official Forums is one of a less important value as many many appearances are 'visibly limited' due to the circular background where the avatar is projected in.
Regardless of changing/adjusting the 'golden colour' of the '
Golden PartyHat
' limited by the space the avatar has most of that partyhat will be cut off and thus the 'golden looks' will remain diminished, not being of good quality.
Yuuup.

Why didn't they just use the same model as the other party hats, but change the colour?
I think it was supposed to look different to the original party hats.
I agree with Keilah - it does look a little large for our avatar's head. However, at least the female avatars have more detail than the male.
Yes, but I'd have preferred if it just used og phat shape and was gold, then thus I wouldn't have complained.
