I play Old School RuneScape and not too often. I think the community is generally helpful and nice. However, when you come across people who are not the best of people it is a little frustrating. I do understand you can get crashed when grinding something and that is okay, but I believe abusing the system and falsely reporting someone and getting your whole clan to falsely report you is not following the code of conduct. It is bullying and harassment to falsely report my account for botting just because I care not to respond to you and AFK.

Also think about it this way. Someone claiming that they'll get all thee people to report you for anything, would require a very important thing, being present at the time of reporting. Even if they told their entire clan you're a bot. I know my clan spans the servers as we typically play on whatever world has the lowest pings for us unless it's a group event, then it takes place on either 124 or 139 and we that have lousy ping either partake or we don't.

So lets say they say I'm a bot everyone report me. Unless they're all going to hop to the world I'm on and instead just open the abuse window to report, they'd need to either highlight my chat as that's what they're reporting or right click me directly to report for suspected activity. If they're all on 124 and I'm on world 6. Their reports are going to look rather dumb as they've had no interaction with me and aren't on the same server.

So long story short it was probably people trying to intimidate and prey on fear than an actual threat. It's also the whole reason I don't world hop when people ask me too. I had found out that someone on my friends list was trying to intimidate others by using me as a threat. My kids character was standing there at the time and we were watching everything that was said in public before I popped in, followed by how sweet and innocent they portrayed themselves after I arrived, with the see I told you I knew "x". My kid had reported them for what they were saying and I severed all ties with them after popping in.
