That's the profile glitch that has been with us for years (even before the reskin in 2015 if I remember correctly); it is often the case that the very first thread in a profile doesn't actually appear on the profile (and when a profile fills up, it then appears at the very top temporarily before its bumped off). Not sure if anyone has ever determined why.
