Quick, simple request, but can the image rule be enforced on threads within this subforum?

By this, I mean only posts may share images if they use the Imgur embed. There's been quite a few questionable links posted on some threads lately, where players have stated they're an image hosting site. With the rares community being chaotic as it is, and no doubt there will be players out there who want to try and phish others for their rares, forumers need a sense of security when using the forums, without having the worry of accidentally clicking a link that goes elsewhere.

Thanks for your request. In hindsight, your request is reasonable to ask.

Have you reported such instances to Forum Help? That would be the correct thing to do in the matter. To quote the Forum Code of Conduct:

"If you post links or images make sure they are safe for your fellow forumers. Do not use link shorteners."

You are correct that Imgur links are the only ones that can be embedded, but the above rule does allow for other image hosting sites to be posted (such as Gyazo, puu.sh etc.) The links must be safe for other users though. The community is pretty savvy on what or does not look fishy.

Your concern for account security is appreciated and valid, but moderators will review reports and make sure to the best of our ability that no rule breaking is taking place.
