I'm sorry but this has been disturbing me for a long time now, and as a software dev myself it's really annoying me because the majority of these problems are really little tweaks that would make the experience so much better.
Could we please get an HTML5 version of the online Grand Exchange website? It would mean the world to me (and prolly many others) if the following issues were fixed:
- The search indexing is so way off, that typing parts of an item's name returns absolutely no results (for instance san for santa hat, ween for halloween masks). This should be a really easy fix by just looking up the items with a matching infix as the input (String.Contains() in Java and perhaps add a Regex so it doesn't do 1:1 matching). This already exists in the in-game Grand Exchange, where it works fabulously.
- Sorting items by price, alphabetically, descending and ascending, filter combinations, etc... (like on amazon with prime/non prime items for member/free, etc...)
- Add a "Max" graph inside an item's view webpage, that shows an item's entire price history. Even the RuneScape Wiki has this, so it shouldn't be too hard either
