The RS forums now have an automatic signature box option which you can customise. It is located in your forums profile. To go to your profile, you can click on
My Profile
, which appears in the upper right corner or click on your name to the left of your post.
There is a 200 character limit to your signature. You can use all of the formatting options that are available for posting. Any content you place in your signature needs to be within the rules of the forum.

The
clarification
that the ASCII community received two years ago stated that if you begin to approach an inch in height with your signature you may be asked to removed it, although this is when it's placed manually. Some signatures that are 5-6 lines are okay so long as they don't stretch the post out too much.
As for the signature feature implemented not so long ago, it cuts off at about 4 lines so if you added more then you wouldn't see the rest of it
