Thanks, Diane. :)

I'm also thinking about what other information to provide about smiley faces. I know that some people make theirs "manually", but I'm not sure if there are standards. Perhaps the
IceyNut
can help me with some common emoticons that are used here on the forums that expand the 10 default smiley faces we are given. :)

I heard my name !!

An interesting thing that you can do with smileys is to make the cute yellow faces disappear and have just the colon and bracket remaining. Using (alt + 0173) in the middle to make a smiley like this :) turn to this :)

Some however may simply use an equal sign instead of a colon to make =) a smiley which also generates a :) but the only smiley that doesn't work with an equal sign is :@ to make :@

I imagine there are some people roaming the boards who may use a smiley face as a bullet point, or perhaps even use a smiley to link to another post! :D

Thank you, Icey :)

I use the =) in game a lot, but I didn't think it worked on the forums so I never tried it.

(with the = sign) and yay only took 5 years for me to learn/discover that! :P

I read that that HSL color wheel may start to be used for clothes, potentially resulting in more consistent colors. I've always liked this purple in my helmet, but it doesn't always match up so well with other 'purple' items. Having more consistent colors has to be a plus for forum fashion! :P

Yup ^ :) . I'm really hoping that ends up as something they can do!

Hey all!

I've been all around the office this afternoon looking at the possibility of this and changing the way the colour palettes in the Solomon's Store work.

Whilst there is nothing set in stone, it's something that I'm going to continue to look into next week when the relevant people are back in Jagex HQ. Whilst the palettes do exist in the game, it's not always as easy as copying and pasting that functionality over to the Solomon's Store and the Wardrobe, which does work differently in some cases.

Either way - I'll try to keep you all updated on any updates that are made. But rest assured, we're looking into it! ^.^

Cheers,
