I'm not sure if we are allowed to talk about them, but does anyone else find some of the statements to be unusual?

I have just re-read the terms for 2 other online games I have played, and they are what I would consider to be normal, and expected. Like, I feel if someone did NOT read them they would reasonably agree with the terms anyways. They are familiar and agreeable.

That opinion does not translate onto these terms. They almost feel like a parody.

My concern is that reasonable people might not be inclined to make any real investment of time or money into such a situation.

Simply reading the document is an arduous task, and that alone can be considered an excessive and unreasonable requirement. (in my opinion)

Further, all the specific topic links to support go to a generic landing page, which I personally find to be an endless loop. I am not making any progress in contacting them properly.

I should add that I totally understand the reason for the terms, I just feel like they have gone out of their way to make it sound unwelcoming.

What specifically is the issue? T&Cs aren't the most welcoming regardless of the company or service which is why in reality only a % of people would ever read them in full.

I'm not seeing right now what stands out as "unusual". It's all the usual legal statements that go over terms of use for Jagex products.

Well that applies to all T&C's, for all companies.
Don't like it? Change the legal system.
