Purchasing premier club today would add 365 days to your subscription. If your membership currently expires on 21-12-2020, then your membership would then expire on 21-12-2021, exactly 365 days from when it is currently set to expire.
The benefits the premier club package provides (the extra key, etc) begins immediately. The benefits from your previous package will continue to run, however, until you reach exactly 1 year from when you bought the previous package (you may have 4 daily keys for a bit until last year's runs out).
This does mean that the benefits from this year's package expire 1 year from when you purchase - you'll still have membership past then, but the extra key and other perks will end 1 year from when you purchase the current package.
