You want ME to report all the rulebreaking? For free?

IDK how you operate but maybe you could assign mods to monitor the culprits. It would be super efficient.
We're all apart of this community and want it to be safe and enjoyable (at least most of us).

If there's an individual or piece of content you feel as though is breaking the rules, you have the option to report it to us via Forum Help if it hasn't already been dealt with but you're not required to.

I would argue that anybody who cared about the community here would make the minimal amount of effort to make a report as we as FMods make the effort to appropriately deal with situations either we come across or are reported to us.

You seem to insinuate that a 'Report' feature is somehow controversial given you're not paid to make that report...

As I said, there's nothing to backup any remarks that suggest that there's a widespread issue regarding rule breaking because not only would we see an increased amount of forum help reports, we'd also see an increase in complaints and/or feedback here regarding the lack of enforcement when it comes to disruptive individuals which we're also not seeing.

It's no secret, the rulebreaking I refer to is obvious. In fact, they often report themselves with bizarre results.

I am certain that new moderators would help to address this situation.

If I see anything that needs to be deleted I will report it of course.

I think that what you're describing about trolls baiting reactions and reporting those reactions, needs a moderation guideline change rather than more moderators Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

That's part of it for sure, has nothing to do with the required number of mods. Why would you even try to say we don't need more?

It's clear they don't have the time to even review the threads that are reported. Help wanted.

I feel as-if over the years there's become a misconception about how invaluable the voluntary position truly is as a FMod, PMod, Dual-Mod, Community Helper, whatever you wanna' call it nowadays. When you have dedicated players here wanting to put forth the time and effort to better the environment in a UNPAID position -- why Jagex doesn't keep up more on this when they end up constantly looking for new employees that they pay to better manage it just baffles me. If you don't like a revolving door then just get a new door. Because-before I retired as voluntary staff here over a decade and a half ago, I was like 16 or 17 y/o iirc and looking back on that age of someone nowadays, anyone can do great things here. All especially when the company values PR so heavily when transparency gets Jagex commended in the masses.

Allow forum moderators the opportunity to appoint an assistant forum mod that operate in a similar but limited fashion and would report to the Forum Mod who appointed them.
Such suggestions makes sincerity/clarity be clouded and the perspective of the forum moderation team untrustworthy.

Just to clarify this suggestion was more “If Mods would like help, then let’s give them some “ rather than “we need more Mods because the forum coverage is inadequate”.

For what it’s worth I think they’re doing a decent job and since a couple have posted here saying it’s not really needed… Then I guess this thread can be locked. :)
