Funny that I stumble across this thread..

I bought this up with Mod Slayer a few months back (in regards to Thread of the Week.) I would really like seeing this back also! I think the benefit would be two fold. Players who put work into their thread get it promoted on the homepage and it would also bring more traffic to the forums which has been declining for some time.

So yes, I would be in favour of this being reinstated. :)

Support, yes I would like to see player hot topics viewed on the home page, as earlier suggested threads from around the forums to give a variety of what's on discussion around the different forums.

This is a step in the right direction to bringing fresh input into these wonderful forums.

Can't this 'hot topic' be automatically updated so it's out if Jagex hands once set up?

Not really The Jmods would have to look for threads to spotlight for the month. Which is kind of the purpose, to get some more Jmod interaction on these forums. :P
