As this has the capacity to very quickly turn into a political discussion, I'd ask that you please keep the conversation centered around the pros and cons of an alternative image platform compared to Imgur, or about the possibility of native-image uploads on the forums as a replacement.

I do upload/manage my images for The RuneScape Official Forums and Imgur offers me the perfect and secure tool so I have the ability to use those images in my posts.
It's an easy access and swift program/website.
Nothing is biased, never had any problems whatsoever other than having a tad too many pictures, easy to sift through select and remove so everything is kept in order.

Some people are just looking for an excuse to batter left and right whenever they have an urge to.

Adding support for additional image hosting sites would be great - and has nothing to do with politics.
