You are technically already able to trade RSNs, though in order to do so, you ultimately need the player with whom you are trading with to be honest. In some cases, people involve a third-party to act as a middleman, though that merely requires you to trust two players rather than one.

A safe mechanism through which names can be transferred would certainly alleviate a lot of concern whilst simultaneously protecting all parties against bots sniping the name(s) in question. It is something which has been suggesting in the past, but not something which appears to have been picked up by Jagex. Indeed, I doubt the time it takes to implement can really be justified.

I personally would not mind such a feature though!

I personally would not mind such a feature though! hi thanks for your comment. but why gets mine thread removed from Game Content Suggestions? if u look 2th page u can see it. theres no problem if rsn getting tradeable in game right?

- In-game items
- In-game Gold (GP)
- Account names


How difficult can reading be?

And now I am hearing you thinking 'what about buying or selling them with in-game money'?

SCAMMING

It is against the rules to try and obtain items or Gold (GP) from other players by scamming them. By ‘scamming’ we mean tricking or deceiving other players for your own advantage. Although scams come in many forms, these are some common examples of behaviour that could lead to your account being muted or banned for scamming:

Account names are CREATED
' thus not bought nor sold.

Be creative and make wonderful names yourself making yourself a proud gamer.

Agreed.

Find it weird that some ppl are wanting this when its clear that names arent meant to be traded.

If this was supposed to be a thing it would have been by now. So why must everything be about the gp?

It is an interesting question and an easy one to answer. Since approximately 2010 The Internet have changed itself to '
investors/merchants/traders/influencers/youtubers/streamers
' etc. etc.
These people have been given the freedom to do their thing, The Internet focussing on these people.
The Internet had to to become a vast ocean full of creative people, getting the attention of Internet-Users so The Internet would be the ultimate source of interesting things to be, including the realization of Social Media worldwide.
Internet-traffic, by this change, should go through the rooftop of everything possible so '
investors/merchants/traders
' would massively go trafficing making the Internet-world boil.
This has triggered many many 'creative people' to do what they are doing right now.

The 'success of an individual/company/assembly etc. etc.' today is measured by the amount of wealth generated, no matter if that is real-life money or gaming wealth (gp), success in RuneScape is measured by the amount of '
gp
' and not by 'levels'. A successful RuneScape player has lots of in-game wealth/items and having reached all top-levels might sound interesting but is not the ultimate goal, '
wealth/items
' are most important.

The ultimate goal is to become the first 'kingpin' of RuneScape having control of everything.

So unless they want to change the rules, like it also says, this isnt going to happen for quite some time.
