So, been speculating about the next ban list, and here is what I came up with:
Vanity's Emptiness to 1/0
Royal Oppression coming back (if Emptiness gets banned)
Mathematician to 0
Tour Guide to 0
Dark Hole to 2
Denko to 1
why ban mathmatician, doesnt look that harmful, also tgu to 1 would make more sense, and vanities to 1, that could work oppression...idk about that
Why Ban Mathematician you ask?
Assuming Shaddolls:
- Summon Mathematician
- Mill Squamata
- From there, 1 of the following:
> If you have everything needed for Fusion, mill Dragon/Beast
> If not, Mill Hedgehog/Beast
- Once Fusion is summoned, Smash Mathematician into something for a low cost +1
Burning Abyss:
- Summon Mathematician
- Mill Scarm
- Scarm adds Tour Guide
- Mathematician gets smashed, +1
In other words: It creates too many power plays too consistently
Can't Bottomless- Will still go off
You're not going to Warn it- There are better things to Warn
You're not going to Veiler/BTS it- Same boat as Warning
And why I mention Oppression is this: Vanity's I can effectively choose when it leaves field. Oppression I can not, plus it has a cost attached to it while my opponent can use it also. In order to get rid of my own Oppression, I have to go -1 with MST/Dust Tornado/Whatever, which could have been used on something else far more important.
My reasonings in a nutshell.
"Revenge...is like a rolling stone, which, when a man hath forced up a hill, will return upon him with a greater violence, and break those bones whose sinews gave it motion."- Jeremy Taylor
