is it healthier to make your own ice cream? and is there any interesting flavors anyone has tried

i personally do not eat ice cream or many sugar products(they make me sick) so was wondering if it was healthier to make home made ice-creams

i really only recommend making your own ice cream if you have a machine. my sister bought one of those were you freeze the base and the top bit moves, it was nowhere near capable enough of aerating the mixture!

i basically add coconut milk to everything, and it makes it extra creamy! i personally like a vanilla mix with an avocado + coconut milk! otherwise maybe a honey flavoured greek yoghurt?

e: i think it's healthier cause you know what you're putting in it, and no preservatives!

I guess you could try it, i don't think the final product will be as aerated as ice creams. I think it will be more sorbet-like cause the ice crystals will just settle! It will still be yummy though!
