Merry Christmas@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
I am having awful horrible pain from when I went to the dentist a month ago. I had a bit of sensitivity and nerve pain afterward, but no pain in my tooth until last week. It's been building and building, and now I can't move my jaw without excruciating consequences.
Have you ever pulled a tongue muscle? Or any muscle that you don't use very often? If you have, then you know what I'm talking about. It hurts lke heck. Well, picture that kind of pain in your face. After I eat or talk (much much worse when I eat), I get a throbbing that starts in my eardrum and moves all over the side of my face. Down my jaw and neck and the muscles in my skull. Spasming of cranial muscles? I can't even describe it. I've had tmj all my life. My jaw pops and stuff, but I've never had pain associated with it before. If this is tmj pain, idk how people live with it. It's truly debilitating. Work is going to be interesting tomorrow (if I don't have to go to jury duty).
I'm so mad about it because I had absolutely no pain before I went to the dentist, and I wouldn't even have gone if I didn't have to for school. I don't even know how much of it is something the dentist could fix, if it's tooth pain, or just the muscles. It's hard to tell when the whole left side of your face is trying to kill you.
