I recently was planning to build a pc and I had a few recommendations but it all came down to this list.

PCPartPicker part list: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/GYsLJV
Price breakdown by merchant: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/GYsLJV/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 2.7GHz Quad-Core Processor ($232.98 @ DirectCanada)
Motherboard: ASRock H110M-DGS Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($39.98 @ NCIX)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($37.99 @ DirectCanada)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.93 @ Vuugo)
Video Card: Asus Radeon R7 260X 2GB DirectCU II Video Card ($129.50 @ Vuugo)
Case: BitFenix Nova ATX Mid Tower Case ($32.79 @ DirectCanada)
Power Supply: Corsair CXM 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($58.98 @ NCIX)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-14 DVD/CD Writer ($18.82 @ DirectCanada)

Total: $610.97

I normally would plan to use my PC for Runescape and video rendering with Sony Vegas. Would you say this PC is more than good enough for that? Also want to try to maybe an alt and a main and render videos at the same time as playing RS. Are these specs good enough?

First off, use your old thread, don't make a new thread every second week
Secondly, it is going to struggle to render and play even one account at the same time.
Thirdly go for a hybrid drive ove hhd
Fourthly, skip the optical drive unless you have an immediate need for it

The other build was completely different though.

Which part of my build is the bottleneck for this?

How would a hybrid drive help? It's basically an SSD mixed with an HDD right?

The optical drive is for installing windows on a disc.

Hybrid auto optimizes your installation, so you'll see super fast boot times etc. And yes ssd + hdd

Bottle neck will vary, gpu for rs, processor + ram for rendering. If your processor turbo boosts to at least 3.4 it should do good. Ram is a very cheap and easy upgrade if you need more. Also tons of new gpu released in this time period so might be worth to
See if any new gpu hit your fancy or waiting might drop old gen gpu

Would any one of these be a good option for Hybrid?

Unfortunately, the processor only turbo boosts up to 3.3, according to the ARK Intel site. Which GPUs have been released as of late? I probably can't afford the new ones lol.

Rendering + playing NXT at the same time may introduce problems. i5's are more suited towards gaming rather than rendering I believe. The i7's are for more demanding uses (like yours), but they cost more.

To be able to cope with NXT's graphical demands AND the demands of rendering, you'll need a strong CPU - I'm not sure a budget build will be able to keep up with those sort of demands without showing some signs of struggles. I personally render + play NXT at the same time with my PC. However, I use Camtasia and experience rather large FPS drops (afking is possible, just nothing dangerous). I don't really know how an Intel CPU will do, but it should somewhat cope. Just don't expect silky smooth 60 fps while rendering :P

Your GPU is okay, but I'd personally go for the 750Ti. It's a great little card. It doesn't use too much power, yet can handle recent games surprisingly well on decent settings. To comfortably not experience drops on NXT's highest settings, you're going to need a high-end GPU (this is for ultra). NXT cares more about the GPU rather than CPU. The better the GPU, the better NXT will perform.

SSD is definitely worth it to boot Windows and store some frequently-played games on it. I don't have one, but they're worth it if you can afford it.

I'm planning on using Java for the most part instead of NXT. Until it phases out, then I can try to maybe get a better GPU.

My expectations for FPS isn't really high anyways. I can handle even 40 FPS and I wouldn't personally mind. As for graphics, I usually play Runescape on the lowest possible settings anyways.

Would a 240 GB hybrid be good enough to last a while for SSDs?

So overall, I don't really plan on playing on higher graphics or NXT for a while so I guess this PC will last me a while right?

Oh definitely. Intel CPUs handle Java perfectly fine because they have superior single-threaded performance compared to AMD. If your graphical demands aren't high, then you'll be satisfied. But even that build should cope with Java high without too many problems. You won't even need to upgrade your GPU for NXT if you're not fussed with playing on settings like ultra.

Your FPS will probably tank during rendering. But you should be able to at least AFK on one account while rendering something.

I would like to think rendering + NXT would be a better choice because most of the work is done on the GPU, giving more headroom for your CPU to do more work (in this case, rendering).

But yes, if I had a system like that, I'd be satisfied.

since it seems you're canadian, prices may be a bit more expensive, but AMD's budge card is the radeon RX 480, and on like the 15th of july NVIDIA will be releasing their competitor the 1060.

but as singularity said the 750ti is pretty popular, but this may be something that interests you:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487153&cm_re=nvidia_gtx960-_-14-487-153-_-Product

it is $60 more (and refurbished) but should deal out a bigger punch and give you less of a headache when gaming.

also for the HHD i'd probably go for this:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178381&cm_re=hhd-_-22-178-381-_-Product

higher RPM than your other stuff
