Oh definitely. Intel CPUs handle Java perfectly fine because they have superior single-threaded performance compared to AMD. If your graphical demands aren't high, then you'll be satisfied. But even that build should cope with Java high without too many problems. You won't even need to upgrade your GPU for NXT if you're not fussed with playing on settings like ultra.

Your FPS will probably tank during rendering. But you should be able to at least AFK on one account while rendering something.

I would like to think rendering + NXT would be a better choice because most of the work is done on the GPU, giving more headroom for your CPU to do more work (in this case, rendering).

But yes, if I had a system like that, I'd be satisfied.

RIP. The GPU I tried to order was sold out :( Any alternatives you could recommend?

the processor only turbo boosts up to 3.3

3.3 should be good enough

Which GPUs have been released as of late?

since it seems you're canadian, prices may be a bit more expensive, but AMD's budge card is the radeon RX 480, and on like the 15th of july NVIDIA will be releasing their competitor the 1060.

but as singularity said the 750ti is pretty popular, but this may be something that interests you:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487153&cm_re=nvidia_gtx960-_-14-487-153-_-Product

it is $60 more (and refurbished) but should deal out a bigger punch and give you less of a headache when gaming.

also for the HHD i'd probably go for this:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178381&cm_re=hhd-_-22-178-381-_-Product

higher RPM than your other stuff

The GPU you just linked me is actually on sale by a lot and its price seems tempting. However, I checked the minimum requirements for the system and it said that Intel Core i7 3.2 GHz processor is the minimum. I guess it might be a bottleneck if I were to use that right?

As for HDD, I'm probably going to keep whatever I got which is the Hybrid one I just linked. I don't really need much storage space anyways since my videos aren't that large on average.

that's wrong about the GPU

"400W or greater power supply****

**** Minimum system power requirement based on a PC configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2 GHz processor."

essentially they jsut want to make sure you're feeding it enough power, so what ever CPU you picked will work fine with it.

From what I've read about bottlenecking, it only occurs (if everything else is up-to-scratch) if you pair a powerful GPU with a weak CPU that cannot keep up with its demands. It'd be like me trying to pair a GTX 1080 GPU with my AMD Athlon x4 860K CPU, it just won't work. My CPU will simply keep telling the GPU to wait, which reduces the effectiveness of the card in some applications and games that could take advantage of the card's capabilities. You'd obviously only notice the bottleneck if you tried to run something that uses a lot of GPU power.

Your CPU won't even bottlebeck a GTX 1080 and that's a new card. So you pretty much can pair it with any GPU providing your Power Supply can handle the power it draws.
