And I still stand by calling the Eagles to beat the Panthers. They have been playing better recently since the slow start, the defense is one of the best in the league, and the Panthers had an easier schedule compared to them. A bit late now because of hindsight, but the most I would have gone was 60-40 on the Eagles winning.

Unless the Panthers played very poorly, I would argue they are equally matched, with Panthers having a slight advantage.

@godo ^ Fair enough, and I was genuinely baffled at first. When you lay it out like that with a 60-40, that sounds a lot more like it.

We have some tougher games coming in soon, and I'll legitimately analyze each team's progress / abilities and make some calls against the Panthers if I have to.

e.g. Packers v Panthers game

That's why I don't play. Friends end up with players on teams they hate and root for the team they hate against the team they like -_-

I look at it the other way.

When Tyler Eifert scores two touchdowns to beat my Seahawks, at least hes on my fantasy team so Im not totally emotionally destroyed by the end result of the game.

Solution: Don't draft players from teams you hate.

Sometimes I'll sit players that go against the Seahawks so I don't have to hope they do well. I sat Greg Olsen a couple weeks ago against the Seahawks even though I know Seattle struggles to cover tight ends.

^ That seems silly to me. Its not like benching him in fantasy is going to to affect how he plays in real. Then if he does good you have to suffer through the fact that you started Coby Fleener for 3 pts instead of Olsen for 26@
