Awesome to find this cricket thread, I'm a big fan myself. Sadly not going to see any ashes this year unless I can convince the wife that its not as boring as she thinks it is.
Do you have any advice on how to get someone to see the joy in cricket? She cant even stomach 20/20!
Watching a bunch of folk stand around in a field for five days only to scrape a draw... how can she not find that AMAZING?!
3 for 300 early on day 3 for Essex... must be a pretty flat deck lol. good work out for the Australian bowlers

My wife bought us tickets for the Eng NZ Headingley test as a birthday pressie for me. Guess I'm just lucky.
Some ppl "get" cricket, some dont and it's looks as though you'd be better off going to a match with a m8 Mark. Good luck!
Yorkshire on fire again in championship cricket, another century for Bairstow, they had Warwickshire at 35 - 9 at one point, Ryan Sidebottom on great form
