Yes it is, beating the India game in 1990 which is memory serves me right was Gooch's 333 and 123, the highest scored by one player in a lords test, and Kapil Dev hitting four 6s in a row to avoid the follow on (mind you tho, they lost anyway)

Can you imagine a "timeless" test played at Columbo on the flattest pitch known to mankind

The game could go on for weeks, scores would be in the 1000s

The only reason they stopped these was because England had to catch a boat home from South Africa and the game still never ended after 9 days !!! One day i will think of something clever to write here.......This however is not that day
