What was the first mmo you enjoyed playing? Is it still around? Would you still play it?

The very first mmo I ever played was Toontown. The second was Maplestory. The third was Runescape.

My first was Toontown. I absolutely loved Toontown. My sister and I weren't allowed to play anywhere with an open chat until we were older, so we just played Toontown together. The original Toontown is gone, but I just found out a free version is available. I would play again except everyone I would play with thinks it's silly.

I would never play Maplestory again.

I guess I will play Runescape for years to come off and on.

RuneScape was my first mmo.

I've tried lots of F2P mmo's afterwards, but only really played two others: Fly For Fun and Dream of Mirror Online. None of them really compare to RuneScape... even though Jagex is trying their best to make it more like the others :(

Well I was watching the development of LOTRO and was planning on playing that but in the meantime some friends who played RuneScape got me to play it and here we are. I did also play LOTRO eventually although I'd missed the release.
