If companies sued each other everytime a small thing resembles something from another game, there would be very, very few games in existence and everything would be so incredibly different you wouldn't even know how to play them.

Something as simple as the health bar, every new company would have to use a different shape and colour. One game has swords, no other company would be allowed to have swords in their games.

Btw, didn't they have that style of combat before runescape? I remember playing that game in 2007 and the action type bar was there. But, wasn't on runescape. Runescape was just clicking.
