Probably a good section would be low level general section, a guy called Who-dr will probably answer your question in quite a lot of detail
OFF TOPIC you scrub.
Save up some more and buy something better that won't leave you thinking I need to get something better as soon as you use it.
Whos-dr resides mostly in General lol and if it is a question about a comp for playing runescape on, general would possibly be the correct forum.
Or come to liverpool and the bagheads will probably get you a really good system for half the retail price

you aren't gunna get anything decent for 200$ lol. Tbh you aren't gunna get much even for 1000$, just build your own= cheap and op af
you can get a decent gaming pc for 200-500 easy if your in the us
Lol you and i have a very different definition of decent then
decent = able to run things to an acceptable level
these people dont need i7 16gb ram 500gb ssd with a pair of gtx 980ti
an a8 with 8gb of ram is more then enough to run most things on normal without lag

read the general fsr
For threads not suitable for another section.
A thread about a computer to play runescape is a thread about the computer not the game. To off topic it goes.
probably wouldn't get moved even if seen tbh cos they'd rather have threads in general to keep users there than elsewhere.
@OP if you don't mind second hand wait till after christmas as there might be some good bargains on sites like ebay.

I would rather not use ebay/Craigs list. Ive had very bad experience with both of those. Ill prob just wait till this comp die and then really start focusing on getting a better computer. Money can be spent on other things atm, since theres no real income in the house, every little bit helps.
OP hang in there bud. You seem pretty cool, don't let us get you down
HLF is pretty cynical.
Good luck with your computer and job hunt. I'd agree that a minimum $350 provided your building your own is necessary to see any real difference and longevity out of your new computer. The best thing you can do is get an SSD as your primary drive and have an external harddrive maybe for the majority of your files.
SSD's are love, SSD's are life
Good luck!
"Why are you posting threads, asking questions and making discussion???"
Came here to post that picture^ Someone beat me to it. Hang in there OP, I was in the same spot as you for the longest time and just recently built myself a beautiful machine with a new i7, 16 gb ram, a 250 gb SSD, and a Gtx 970. Just set a goal and stay dedicated. Don't give up OP.
