Tokyo Ghoul definitely. If it gets a proper reboot in the future it will be one of the greats.

Just curious, what are some animes that you thought had the potential to be a top anime but turned out bad in the end, not including longterm ones and ones that you dislike because they ended at a bad point? Mine would be...
Tokyo Ghoul
Guilty Crown
Akame ga Kill
Can't think of any others, but there are probably a ton
Idk, they all were letdowns in some ways but otherwise all three were pretty freaking awesome. That being said I don't read manga so idk what I'm missing out on.
Watamote could of been good. It has some good scenes like the death note one.. but it just rly fell short in every possible way.
Shingeki No Bahamut-Genesis - rly good anime no arguments but it was like 13 eps and they killed the story line so it couldn't ever be continued. The story line was far too short considering what it should of been so I have to put it in that kinda category tbh.

Definately those 3
And/or
Plastic Memories(Not sure about this one, a bit of both yes and no)
Terra Formars
Probably not... but does anyone else here watch exclusively dubbed anime? Keeping in mind that there is A LOT of dubbed anime out there... you might be surprised.
I stay with dubbed. People say you miss out on translation with dubbed but you do that anyways with subbed. Words, whether they're verbal or written can lose their meanings during translation.. it's inevitable either way.

Terra Formars
I LOVED the idea behind the powers in Terra Formars, was so good! Also, the brutality was pretty damn quality.
I would say it's just preference lbody, I've seen dubbed and subbed of the same series and I just love the sub way more.
There are other times the dub made the show look like complete crap like One Piece when it was first out, etc. but in the end it's whatever you prefer.
Also Konjiki no Gash Bell, I loved the subbed, but the dub Zatch Bell made it seem like a show about pedophiles...

is god eater that crappy 3d stuff.... looks kinda like plastic in that a-z
and decided to watch Aoharu x Kikanjuu as well this season, can understand why some people don't like it though, it can be pretty melodramatic and a lot of people aint got patience for talking, it makes me sad how few of the western anime community can actually watch dialog
@Lbody
i hate dubbed anime, there is very few animes i will watch in dub, and dragonball z is about all of that, i did watch fma brotherhood in dub because the Japenese dialect used was a little different to what im used to, but thats it
IMHO the things said in anime just sound stupid childish and mocking in English, and it just feels completely wrong, and ruins the mood and tension and seriousness that only a Japenese voice saying things can provide
