It seems that this thread is getting out of hand now and then. My opinion on all these small fights is that we really need to control ourselves. This thread is no place for arguments, it's to post real life pictures of ourselves or other things.

In addition to this, negative comments shouldn't be posted either. Some of us might take them very seriously and as a result be offended. Just try to imagine how that person feels at that moment he or she reads an insult.

Regarding jokes and comments that might be questionable, again it's a good idea if those aren't posted. The other person might be confused or offended.


So to sum up, I think it would be a good idea if we followed three basic 'rules' here.

Stay on topic, no arguments.


If we have nothing good to say it's best not to post at all.


If we have something to say that it may be questionable and open to interpretation, it's best not to post it either.

Alright, I've gone through and removed a few comments, some were inoffensive and were actually fine but did nothing to stop the bickering that was taking place. Don't perpetuate the argument.

I won't have disparaging comments made on this thread (or the forums as a whole, actually.) For many who post here it takes a lot of courage to post a picture of themselves to people whom they've never met and mostly don't know, so if you've got nothing nice to say DON'T POST. If you do post, expect a temporary - perhaps even permanent - removal from the HLF.

I'm really being quite lenient and have given chances for everyone to make with the nice and get past this; clearly some are unable or unwilling. Continue and you won't be able to. I hate to be an ass and "lay down the law" so to speak, but it's getting ridiculous.

This community is smaller than people think, especially the group active on the forums. There's no need to be causing strife by dancing about making insensitive jokes (or even just plain insults) at peoples expense. It takes a lot of courage to post on here, and fracture that wall of anonymity that the internet offers us. If you can't be mature and respectful of everybody on here (gay, straight, old, young, black, blonde, horned, 3 legs,
winged
, whatever) then go someplace else.
