I don't know if you have the same traditions for students in sweden, but we go on a "vogntur" to everyones houses after graduating, and the weather really sucked that day... It was raining a lot that day, and the red colour from the hat wore off and went onto the white part... Idk if you can see it on the picture though.

Paid like 650 kroner for it and I never used it again after the first week lol.

oh cool, it's pretty similar to mine :P

And yes i graduated from a gymnasium. feel rather grown-up as of now, just started with medicine, feels awesome :D

Anyways, 650kr is cheap! i paid 1,5K for mine xD and i wore it on graduation day, haven't touched it since then. After graduation, we step on large trucks; like these ones - http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-i93sPfBKA60/TV2ZwUg2vLI/AAAAAAAAAEQ/O7jp6fitK6I/s1600/sx66c2ec.jpg

with lots of alcohol of many kinds lol. we don't drink it. just spray it on each other, aswell as the people on the streets.

hours later, we spend time with friends and family then head off to a "Student club" where all the students invite all their friends to a club we spent money on together, for the night.

^ typical Swedish graduation day. It's an amazing experience. :D

Ah, that sounds fun. :)

We have the same trucks for students here, except we DRINK the alcohol, and not just spray it on people lol. But anyways, we started the day off at the school at around 8 am, got our diploma, had some time to take pictures with family and friends, before we finally headed off to the trucks at around 10 am.

Most of the students from my class lived far from the town though, so we basically spent the next 12 hours visiting everyone, spending around 20-30 mins at each house. As I said, the weather was really bad that day, so it was really tiring and yeah... wet. But hey, as long as you have your friends everything becomes fun. :)

After the family visits we went to a banqueting hall (sort of) that we had rented with students from the other classes and spent the rest of the night there.

So overall, it was a fun, but tiring day. :D

Oh and btw, I selected the cheap package, so I only got the hat. Others ordered shirts and stuff too, so that one might have been a bit more expensive. 650 kroner for a hat that you're only going to wear for a day is still quite a lot though. :|
