Once I made a pure with long blonde hair so he would look like an elf. It didn't feel natural so I changed him to look like me again.

I think it's a matter of being able to identify, or empathise with your RS character. Obviously Solomon prods identify as a magic fairy unicorn.

I changed my hair colour once to match my outfit and as like you, it felt unnatural so I changed it back!
