I've had quite a history with alcohol.

Used to hate beer and was a big time wine fan starting out, especially moscato. Ex and I used to visit liquor stores and world markets to browse wines. Ex introduced me to hard cider too and that was when I got into hard cider big time.

Angry Orchard was my #1 go to drink. There were Redd, Woodchuck, Strongbow etc. that I've enjoyed too.

The carbs cider had in them made the drinks range from 230 calories to 300 calories per bottle, I hated that so I gave up on them quite recently.

Started to drink regular beer, and IPA. Jesus, IPA is so good nowadays. My favorite is Goose Island IPA.

My favorite line of beer might be the Rogue brand. I'm moving to San Francisco in less than 4 months which is perfect. There's a Rogue bar in North Beach :)

Interestingly, I had wine couple days ago for the first time in years. It was meh meh. It was the same bottle I used to love so much back then.

It seems I cannot enjoy both beer and wine at same time.

lol yeah been to places like that Remember Caz. Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Not much of an alcohol drinker any more, however..

For beer I have only really had "Bengali Tiger", it's only available in Wetherspoons in the UK though, sadly. Really strong beer though and I loved it.

Cider is more my thing - Kopparberg (any flavour), Magners (the strawberry one, I think), Carling (cherry) are my favourites from "regular" brands - with Old Rosie and Angry Orchard being my 'real ale'-kinda favourites.

For spirits, I'm fine with Kraken, my favourite rum by far - Cinnamon whisky is also quite nice when mixed with coke, or even pepsi - and for straight drinks, I like Johnnie Walker.
