First, if there is a better forum for this, please move it. I looked but did not see anything.
I've been giving in and trying NXT. Is it always super slow? I mean, when I teleport, it's a good two minutes for the game to catch up. It takes 30 to 70 seconds just to go from my inventory to "worn gear" subscreens. Is this normal, and if not, what can I do to correct it? I am playing on the second-lowest graphics settings. Advice, please?

You're better off posting in either of those, but seeing as though you are here. I may as well try and help.
You need to leave the nxt client at log in screen (preferably overnight) until the cache on the bottom right reaches 100%, so it does not try to download the cache while you are playing, which gives you the delays.
You only need to do this once, not every time you log in.
