The thing is he'll either have bad weeks with only 2 point gain based on play time or he'll score a hat trick. There's no inbetween!
Also since he costs so much you'll be limiting your other player options, though I guess if the expensive strikers/ attacking midfielders have good games they'll make up for bad point return on the cheapest defenders.
Another thing I don't like about fantasy league is that it's all about prolific goalscorers and assist makers rather than having an all around good team. You can stack your midfield with attacking midfielders or wingers instead of picking box to box or defensive midfielders who will boss the midfield in real life and allow the attackers to stay up front, but won't score and only grant 2-3 points in fantasy league most of the time. Pogba for instance likely won't get many points due to this unless game is really open like against Southampton and he can be on the end of attacks.
