a lot of the melo death metal bands i like are from europe but they almost all have english lyrics. sure as fuck no squeaky vocalists tho. even their highs i wouldnt consider squeaky. you musta been listening to some weird core bands :P Old School

I gave up on English. Got bored with the same repetitive shit.

I sort of listen to the sound of the voice, regardless if I can understand the language or not.

And, indie groups are my favourite. I like some older ones, too. But, those are namely from England.

one of the things i really like in death metal is the huge variety in lyrics and what groups focus on. anything from life stuggles, animal rights, to goreporn and murder lol

first band i think of is Be'lakor. probably my second or third favorite group
they have super melodic riffs imo but still amazing low death metal growls. their lyrics are very poetic makes me think at least
