Do any of you feel super awkward when you have to return coffee to the barista at Starbucks because it wasn't made correctly? I had to do that yesterday and it felt awful. I guess because I feel like I'm criticizing them and kinda putting them on the spot.
I've never gone to Starbucks, but I do feel awkward returning anything of the food/drink variety. This one time, Mom and I went to Burger King. My burger was undercooked, so we sent it back. I got a new one, only this time, it was green-looking. So, we sent it back. The supervisor guy was a bit perplexed, saying that the burgers were "meant to look like that."
:C
Well maybe the health inspector is 'meant to visit you very soon!'

nah idc. As someone that's worked in the food industry, i always prefered it when people told us that we fucked up and let us fix it instead of causing more problems, or just sulking and never ordering again. Like if we fucked up and they don't try to get credit or something, i'd give them extra stuff.
Plus, sometimes i've had orders fucked up, and they offer to re-do it, and im like nah i really can't waste the time waiting, they offer a discount or give stuff for free so it works nicely on either side.
