Let's say on Runescape that Mod Pips decides everyone should be entitled to 99 magic. And to do this he's going to start taxing people. If you have over 1b+ you get taxed for 50% of any gp you receive to support that entitlement.
That's basically what is going on right now in the U.S. and many parts of Europe. How is it right to take 50% of someones wages, that they worked hard for, to give someone else a free service? It's absolutely ridiculous and you know what people would quit if that ever happened.

Considering these socialistic programs have put us in the hole by almost 20$ Trillion dollars, I really don't think we're better off. A lot of people are unaware of this but money doesn't grow on trees. You can't just keep borrowing and borrowing money without ever paying it off. Sooner or later this is all going to blow up.
I don't know shit about your country so I'm not even going to comment on it.
I used to live in the land of opportunity, where anyone, doesn't matter what race or gender you are, have the opportunity to rise to the top if they were willing to put in the hard work. This opportunity is being systematically destroyed by people that want to ostracize those who make higher wages because of their endeavor to better themselves.
By the way, if you're going to tax the hell out of everyone making a wage that you deem "too high", how the hell are you going to motivate people to take on those jobs? You think you're going to motivate potential doctors or potential engineers to pursue those careers if they're barely going to be making any money?

If you want to go to the best university you can. You don't have to be rich either because you can take out loans or get scholarships to further your education. If you have the drive and ambition to pursue a degree, there are plenty of ways to fund yourself.
If you want to take out loans to get a degree in Lesbian Dance Theory, you can do that. Good luck getting a job... But you CAN absolutely do that. OR you can go to school, get a degree in science and take on a high paying job.
It's really strange, somehow college isn't affordable for some people - yet somehow I was able to attend college with little to no support from my parents.
How on earth could I possibly attend college with little to no support from my parents? Oh that's right, I worked hard in high school because I knew early on the importance of higher education.
Despite receiving scholarships for only a fraction of my education and having to take out loans, I still managed to carry on and pursue my goals. People don't even realize what college is. It's an investment in yourself. If you don't think it's an investment worth making then don't go.
