You're welcome!
If you can give, like, a price-range, maybe we can find something lovely?

Was looking to spend around 600-1000$ max.
Would only be using it for school + Rs.

This one is lacking in information, but:
http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-Satellite-C75D-B7350-17-3-Inch-Processor/dp/B00QI6101I/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1428890437&sr=1-5&keywords=laptop
The price for this Asus is lovely. The only problem is the touch-screen. It's also refurbished.

This is another Asus, but the GHz isn't there.

This HP is also lovely, but the weight is worrisome. One of its redeeming qualities, however, is the processor: 2.9 GHz A-Series Quad-Core A6. Another redeeming quality is that it has a few USB ports.

This other HP also looks promising; however, the weight is also problematic.

It looks like a lot of the laptops featured on Amazon weigh ~4-6 pounds. But... this is just Amazon.

Thats so...cheap
IKR.
I paid a lot for my laptop about ~5 years ago. D:
If they're going for, like, $400-$500, then Zamorak could always use the extra cash on other fun trinkets.
Ooh, but this is also assuming that there are no additional costs

Out of those link I would stay away from toshiba and hp because past products have been made of crap material >_>
I've heard good things of Asus tho if you want to look into that
