My day today:

I woke at
5 am
to go pick up my grandmother, thirty minutes away. Take her to have breakfast (took 1 hour). Then drive three hours to LA, with all the traffic and terrible drivers, to the Colombian Embassy...

ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT IT WAS CLOSED TO DAY FOR A COLOMBIAN HOLIDAY.
