Idk, just seeing some people's reasoning as to why EOC should be reverted, so everyone plays pre-eoc/legacy.
Few examples were EOC promotes anti-social behaviour, People having to press enter to talk was too hard so they stopped talking to people. (lol)
As well as EOC being unchallenging, whereas click and afk is very challenging lol
Could go on for ages, but don't see why people can just be happy that Jagex is even doing legacy and not demand more even though they 'majority' will never be happy.

guess it comes to preferation to most of us. Personally I really enjoyed pre-eoc cb but looking back on it now, it was rather dull and not really worth it compared to eoc.
It's still great that they're giving us the opportunity to actually play something that comes close pre-eoc combat

Well, I think that the reason there is "fuel to the fire" is because, regardless of what anyone says, EoC was forced upon us. Even though there was a big majority that did not want EoC to come into the game (either because they didn't think it was ready, or it was not what they were asking for), Jagex ignored the remarks because they had already made plans to unleash new content along with the EoC, and it essentially boiled down to money. Jagex did not expect to lose such a huge chunk of the player base with the release of EoC, and with that had to compensate more with MTX. Players did not bring back Legacy mode, Jagex did. They
wanted
to release Legacy mode in order to bring back the players. They released that poll,
knowing full well that it would pass
, in hopes of easing them into EoC. We'll see if that actually happens though...
E: To respond to your guy's "we already have revolution", the legacy mode is essential due to the fact that the interface is much simpler, and revolution does not solve PVP. You wouldn't go PVPing with revolution on would you?

As for the 07 question, no, it actually didn't. Because it required people to start new accounts, it deterred quite a few from staying. A lot of the player base for 07 are people playing on alternative accounts, who still play EoC, and those who simply liked 07 for the sake of nostalgia, and then another chunk who wanted to pvp.
