Simply using SOF at all means you're supporting it. It's the numbers that count, and if Jagex sees that people are using it, that's enough for them to keep SOF & RWT in the game.

If 0 people were to buy Bonds and spins, pretty sure they'd just give up on TH.

I kind of agree with that statement. If 0 people were neither using nor buying the bonds/spins then they would get rid of it. But if people were using but NOT buying the bonds/spins, jagex would change how they approached selling them. Aka make them more lucrative to purchase (for example, more spins for your buck, free promotional items for every purchase, better rewards aka more exp from lamps & lamps, etc).
