I heard a bird chirping out the back went to look and there was a cat sitting over a bird, so I shoved it away and checked out the bird. It looked pretty bad off but it was living so I put it into the bird cage we have out the back with some water and bread. Hopefully it will recover from that.

Keeping it darkened will reduce stress and bread isn't much good for birds for better ideas read this:

I don't think the survival rate after cat attacks is that good, but you never know.


Oh and scare away any cats you see because they are wildlife killing machines.
