Here, I am. Currently telling the tale of a man whose name was once a legend among these lands. his name might be forgotten but he still lives on in our world. He has become an immortal but at a cost that no man or woman could ever fathom. I’m going to tell you the tale of Siddam, he who is between the fire and water.

Long ago far in the north of our world there was once a nest filled with dragon eggs. Their mother absent as dragons leave their eggs to the wild world. It is something that has been done since the beginning of time. But this nest had a peculiar effect placed in it. Inside this nest were 2 eggs of different dragons, and as such these dragonlings would try to murder each other once their eggs would hatch.

For 2 years the eggs would lay there, their presence never to be seen by anyone. But when they hatched something special happened. One dragon was born as an elemental of fire, and the other as an elemental of water. They were natural enemies. But having just hatched they were all they had in this world and trying to murder each other for sure would mean the extinction of the other. So they carried on together. In a cave that was lit up by the fire of one and kept alive by the presence of the other.

Together they grew, and their strength increased. As they started to venture into the outside world they learned from what they saw in nature. But they also learned from each other and had developed a language of their own.

These two had defiled all odds together. They grew up as brother and sister while their very nature told them to kill each other. This however hasn’t been the only thing as they grew, their feelings towards each other had also grown. They were starting to fall in love with each other. But their very nature of fire and water prevented them from ever being truly together.

At the age of 5 they had already seen enough of the world. They were sick and the only thing that could prevent them from losing all interest in life was each other. They settled into a cave with a room large enough to support both of them. They were close enough to each other to feel their presence but far enough not to directly hurt each other. The water dragon’s tears filled the room and as the fire dragon laid there his intense heat boiled the tears and scorched his part of the cave. After so much time has passed the cave had become a natural spectacle that thrived on the depression of two majestic creatures. Fire and water were living together and the cave flourished with mosses and plants.

Little did the dragons know that this cave would also be their graves. For a hero named Siddam had heard about the cave. This was a man that had done the impossible before. And as he climbed up the mountain where the cave resided the mountain started to resist, trying to throw this hero off his course. But nature once again did not win from the will of man. As he stood before the damp entrance the paladin drew his sword. Not knowing what dangers would lie within.

After a small walk he discovered both the dragons, laying in their spots, where they had not moved out of for decades. Their attention seemed to be on a different level. Siddam out of natural response felt responsible for removing this threat from his world, he ran up to the water dragon and stabbed it with his sword, aiming for the heart.

Both dragons woke up from their trance of love and the water dragon bit the hero before collapsing to his grave. Siddam was hurt bad and before he could think about anything he collapsed to the ground. The fire dragon enraged about the death of his lover rushed towards him. Ready to slice his body into a million pieces, but before he could manage to do so. Siddam glowed brightly and emitted a pulse that made the mighty dragon faint. Siddam woke up after a while and had noticed the hand with which he had slain the dragon was pulsating with energy. After he stood up he felt a physical attraction towards the fire dragon, something he could not explain. While he stepped closer to the dragon the heat his flames emitted felt like the hand of his god pushing him into Walhalla. As he even stepped closer, he started to touch the flames with his other hand, they circled around his fingers and started to drain the fire dragon of his life energy.
Both dragons were slain by this man. But on his way back to the civilized world, he had noticed that his flesh was transforming, slowly but surely. One half of his body started to transform into water, and the other half into flames.

This man still remains in our world, in the mighty tower in the north, where he sits on his iron throne. The water dragon had cast a spell on Siddam when he bit her. And that was to transform their elemental individuality into his body. Where they could live together without pain. Siddam however would receive all the pain that they have to endure. Sittin on his throne you can see the lifeless stare of this man while flames and water mix to form vapour, but Siddam’s heart can also still be seen in the place it belongs to his body, warped and glowing purple out of everything he has had to endure for these dragons to be together.

I wrote close to a 1000 words for this small piece of lore.
and this is still beta version that I can't tell directly to the group, because it is both too long and it isn't directly that good to tell as a story imo.
