I spent all day playing dungeons and dragons with my best friends today

it was awesome even though it was chaotic and messy and not a single person had any idea what they were doing. (neither was I we all played for the very first time)

one of my friends was in mid combat and he was like.
yo John, give me the d20 I want to roll for a specialty
so I was like, um sure. what do you want to do.
so naturally he replied.
I'm gonna roll to let my character fall asleep.

I swear he was dead serious L

Lel.

My ex used to play it. He'd call it his "D & D group".

I am not too sure if he still plays it, but when he did, he'd tell me, "Deanna! I need help! They put me in charge of making a story!" And, he'd add, "I am uncreative! Help!"

I'd giggle uncontrollably at him. I'd tell him to make it gorey as hell, and he'd merely go, "Nooo!"

loool

we arranged that I'm always the dungeon master, so in charge of the story, world and everything that goes on in it.

its fun to play if you have a nice group.

also they're currently in a story heavily based on the myreque series. except literally more dark and unforgiving. In which they have to violently murder each other and have to be turned against each other.

I'm really excited to get them far in this story.

3-4 weeks is very little for a campaign if you ask me.
It only gets you slightly into a specific world or place.
I'm planning on making this world last.

they might have to kill each other in my current campaign but that definately is not the end of it.

I don't mind being the DM though, it's fun I get to mess around with my friends constantly. AND very important, I can teach them how to be good in this game.

Like their very first encounter, it might have been the very first time they are playing but still. If a person sends you to a potentially dangerous and lethal mission to save someone for him. And you don't even ask his name. Get to know his appearance or ask for his motives.

Imo that's just silly, I confronted them with that during midgame though and they were like shiieeee

they did ask for the reward though but they have no idea who they have to save and they're already halfway :3
