So me and my friends are gonna do dungeons and dragons this weekend and I'm the dungeon master. And I have to read up how everything works and understand it.

I thought it would take a days work.
Apparently both the DM and player guide are about 400 pages of text in total

1/10th done. :|

am planning on involving only one dungeon

and killing everyone in it and murdering their very essence one by one.

I asked them if they were okay with a dark and sinister plot and storyline.
they will get something from their own nightmares.
