My school used to do essay competitions. Some of them were alright, sadly I never managed to win one though

Anything, really, but now it's problematic because a lot of these competitions require certain themes and elements, and it's like, "WELL, I JUST SPENT NEARLY HALF A SEMESTER DOING WHAT I WANTED."

Er, well...

The semester ends next week. Our assignment is due on the 8th. I need to find one, like, between now and the weekend. I found one, but it doesn't say anything about publication... but it has a prize of $5,000...
