Leicester and Monaco took the opportunity to rest their starting players with the group win already secured which messed up predictions D:

Really close with just one point between the three of us though!

Explanation of the knock-out phase HLF competition has been added! Make sure to invite your friends to participate! If you have any questions, let me know.

Predict the outcome of each match to gain points as follows:

0 points for a completely incorrect prediction
1 point for correctly predicting who will win/lose (or draw)
3 points for correctly predicting the score (this is including that 1 point above)


Some rules (on top of the ones we have already)

-No more colour-coding
-Only predictions in numbers will be considered (e.g. 2-1, not "Team x will win/lose" )
-This system applies until the end of the Champions League
-Everyone will start with 0 points again after the winter break, so make sure to invite more players to participate in this!
(-For anyone who participated in the HLF competition for the Euros last summer, this is exactly the same system that we used back then)

EXAMPLES


Predictions for the quarter finals (Tuesday):

Dortmund - Barcelona: 1-2
Juventus - Manchester City: 0-0

I would gain 6 points if both scorelines turn out to be correct. I would gain 2 points if none of the scorelines are correct, but Barcelona still won (0-2) and the Juventus game still ended in a draw (1-1). I would gain 0 points if the scorelines are incorrect and if it turns out that, for example, Dortmund and Juventus won.

By posting a prediction for any game in this way, you automatically participate in this HLF competition.
