It is strange you say this and I myself found this thread. Throughout my life I have not been allergic to anything, really. My body reacts to very little environment, food and all-else changes that can negatively influence it. Until as of late, through no routine difference of normal, I have had some serious allergy issues this past week and it is seemingly ongoing.. my sinuses are making me want to die. A co-worker told me she had the issue for a month just recently, too. I am in the west coast, so perhaps something is happening here?

Possibly relevant, but many fish died today here. I wonder if it's cause they don't have noses :P .

West Coast here as well! (See my above post). It's really pissing me off! My doctor said to try Claritin-D or Zyrtec-D (The "D" stands for "decongestant&quot ;) . I'm starting this tomorrow.

have u tried praising jeebus?

I use to be able to inhale a cloud full of pollen and never so much as sneeze, but nowadays if I run into just a handful of pollen I start sneezing and get a runny nose all day. I also use to be able to roll around in poison ivy, but now I can't get within 5 feet of a leaf without getting it.

People's immunity changes over time, sometimes for the better, sometimes worse. It's a common thing. Even sever food allergies can diminish over time, and vise versa.

As far as i know i don't have any allergies i'm 22 but if i develop any i'll definitely let you know,

I've had someone tell me that the developed an allergy by eating hot dog sandwiches every day for at least a couple months, they started getting a rash and feeling really sick, they said when they went to the doctors that they said it was because both the tomato sauce he was using and the hotdogs had the same chemical ingredient in it so he was effectively overdosing on it so it made him allergic to it.

Severe allergies:
- Pinicillin (causes hives)
- Sulfa (can kill me)
- Flea bites (each one swells up a good bit more than average, multiple bites can cause a large rash, etc., but it's not a problem that I've had to deal with much; only really an issue if someone's house is infested with them)

Mild allergies:
- Certain types of plant pollen (clogs up my sinuses, but not much more than that)
- Fire ant bites (each one swells a little bit more than average, but nothing severe even if I accidentally step on a mound of them)
