It's probably a dumb question, but are you looking into the 6 Plus as a phone replacement or just as an iPad alternative? I only ask because I would think it'd be significantly cheaper to buy a 4G iPad Mini.

Actually it will be a replacement for both I also like the idea of having cellular data everywhere I go, aka access to the internet everywhere I go

I want something that can get on the internet everywhere
Bigger than a phone, because I'll use the "phone" 1% of the time (actual stat on my iPhone 5)
Smaller than ipad
and I still need a phone

I can't think of anything else that will satisfy this more than a 6 plus, but I'm leaving it open for discussion!

Ah, yeah it sounds to me like the 6 Plus (or any "phablet" I suppose) would fit that description best then, if it's replacing your phone as well. An iPad with 4G capabilities would give you the internet-everywhere feature, but at the sacrifice of the phone feature.
