Ah, yeah it sounds to me like the 6 Plus (or any "phablet" I suppose) would fit that description best then, if it's replacing your phone as well. An iPad with 4G capabilities would give you the internet-everywhere feature, but at the sacrifice of the phone feature. :P
I just hope I can hold out on purchasing one until the price drops. I bet the price doesn't even drop much? I wonder.. Apple seems to retain its value, maybe I should just shell out the cash now and enjoy it sooner

Hmm, yeah I imagine the 6 will still be relatively expensive even after the next model comes out, since the 5 still seems expensive as well.

Depending on how long you plan on having it and how much use you think you'll get out of it, it could be a good investment anyways, still. :)

Motorola no-contract phones are where it's at..
I switched over to Android about a year ago and haven't once regretted it. Iphones are overpriced piece of shit. They break way too easily even with full protective cases, especially the screens, the OS constantly gets slower as use continues, and the battery is lucky to last you a day on moderate use. I got a Moto E a little over a year ago and not had a single issue out of it, still runs the same as the day I got it and still get 2-3 days of battery life with the same use as iPhone.

iPhone 7, 7 plus, and 7c are expected to come out on the thirteenth of September

Just a rough estimate as far as what you can expect in terms of price drops for older models:
http://puu.sh/msk1b/fde710cec9.png

the 6s has a noticeable difference when compared to the 6 in terms of performance speed (and MUCH better fingerprint reader), so if you're willing to wait until the 7 is released the regular 6 should drop $150-$200ish is what I'm guessing since it's already outdated in comparison to the 6s

usually the s model isn't "that" much better, they were more-or-less the same with the 4/4s & the 5/5s, so a new model being released would make it like this:

7>6s>6
as opposed to this
6>5s=5 or 5s=5>4s=4

basically it would be the time they sell off their 6 stock with contracts/discounts etc since it'll be outdated by two models and not one model like past versions making it less desireable, imo anyway. I don't really track older prices for phones so I'm just stating what I think will pan out, could be completely off, but gl in buying a new phone!

edit: here's the source for 7 release date btw if curious

@agumon thanks for the detailed response! :D I will think it over... ugh, I hate waiting but maybe that's the best thing to do.

By then... I might be too poor lol x_x
