Quick find code: 261-262-255-65766298
Yeah its going to take a while for those baseball people to get over the new slide rules. It should be pretty simple at this point, runners only options are to slide into the base as if there isn't a defender there trying to turn a double play. I did always think it was weird that Baseball encouraged slides that had absolutely nothing to do with trying to be safe at the base, and Im glad they're taking steps to get rid of those kinds of plays.
Side note, kind of ironic how we have two mariner fans and one blue jays fan here posting the most. Our teams offenses couldn't be any different! Well apart from last night apparently

After Cruz hit that solo shot I was thinking to myself how it was ironic that the M's put an emphasis on bringing in OBP guys in the off season, and through two games the team looked exactly like it had the previous years. Glad it changed a bit late.
